Position Summary:
A well-established global logistics company is seeking a motivated and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee warehouse and order fulfillment operations in its Denton, TX facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving team performance, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining service levels for customers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in warehouse operations, people management, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of salaried and hourly employees
- Drive local and regional initiatives across warehousing and logistics functions
- Manage productivity goals and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain safety, quality, and service metrics across all operational areas
- Coordinate with Safety, HR, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams
- Oversee inventory movement across 50,000+ SKUs (inbound/outbound)
- Work in a physical environment requiring frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), walking, and standing
- Operate effectively in a 24/7, multi-shift environment
Basic Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in team and performance management
- 5+ years in B2C warehouse operations, fulfillment, or robotics
- Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of direct experience in fulfillment centers
- Proficiency in WMS, WCS, and SAP systems
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, or holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations, or a related field
- Experience with automated picking systems and value-added service processes
- Familiarity with CGMP environments and supplement handling
- Exposure to IT and technical warehouse systems
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- Korean language proficiency is preferred but not mandatory
